Telehealth Therapy & Psychiatry
At Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health, we believe you deserve mental health services that meet you where you are. We can provide confidential virtual mental health therapy and psychiatry through a secure, live video connection you can access from the comfort of your own home or other location.
Care Coordination
Care Coordination is a process that we at Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health pioneered as part of our comprehensive approach to your mental health care plan. Many initial appointments begin with a conversation with one of our Care Coordinators. The purpose of this initial meeting is to assess your needs and help guide you to the services that will help you reach your treatment goals and better mental health.
Psychiatry
Psychiatry is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental health challenges, emotional disturbances, and behavioral issues. Our skilled psychiatric care providers—including licensed medical doctors (M.D. or D.O.), psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP), and physician assistants—are expertly trained to assess both the physical and psychological aspects of mental health conditions.
Medication Management
Medication management is a collaborative approach with a psychiatrist or psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), often used alongside therapy and psychiatry, to ensure you get the most out of your mental health treatment. Orlando Premier Psychiatry provides medication management to those with conditions that can benefit from mental health medications, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and more. With expert prescription medication management, your psychiatrist or psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner can monitor your medications, adjust dosages as needed, and work to improve your treatment outcome.
Children’s Mental Health
Children’s services are therapies specifically designed to address the needs of children up until age 18. This period of childhood and adolescence, already fraught with the physical, emotional, and social challenges of growing into adulthood, can be especially difficult for young people living with circumstances, conditions, or disorders that tax their abilities to cope in healthy ways. Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health provides a variety of mental and behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and teens, including ABA Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry and Medication Management.
Trauma Therapy
Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health is a trauma-informed outpatient treatment center with providers who are equipped to support you as you process and release trauma. We currently have 35 providers in our locations all over Florida who are trained in evidence-based trauma therapy modalities, such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Trauma Therapy can help reduce symptoms of Trauma or PTSD, increasing your ability to handle daily life’s stressors.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy where a qualified therapist conducts session with a family unit to assist the family in repairing relationship issues, solving problems, and improving communication. The goal of family therapy is to improve communication and relationships amongst family members. Parental conflicts, grief/loss, financial insecurity, and behavioral issues are all examples of family dynamics that our trained therapists can assist with.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a type of therapeutic support that can be utilized alone or in conjunction with other types of mental health services like therapy and psychiatry. Group therapy allows for small groups of individuals with common concerns or issues to come together to discuss their struggles, share stories and tools that work for them, all with moderation from a qualified therapist. Groups are often created around anxiety, depression, mindfulness or emotional regulation tools.
