Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health Services
Telehealth in Florida and Virginia for Mental Health
At Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health, we believe you deserve mental health services that meet you where you are. We can provide confidential virtual mental health therapy and psychiatry through a secure, live video connection you can access from the comfort of your own home or other location.
What is Telehealth?
Telehealth, also known as Virtual Therapy, is psychotherapy or psychiatry services that are provided through a confidential live video connection. It is also referred to as Virtual Care, Virtual Therapy, or Teletherapy.
You receive the same treatment as you would during an in-person appointment. We provide virtual psychiatry and psychotherapy in every city and county across Florida and Virginia.
How does Telehealth work?
You can see your provider via Telehealth using any internet-enabled device — a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Telehealth sessions at Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health are conducted via Zoom, a widely accessible video conferencing tool which is free to download to your device. You can receive a variety of therapy services virtually, including group therapy.
Telehealth at Orlando Premier Psychiatry is 100% secure and confidential. Already established patients can change an in-person appointment to virtual upon request.
If you would like to change your already scheduled in-person appointment to a Telehealth appointment, please contact your office and allow up to 72 hours to complete the request. New patients will first be established with a Care Coordinator, and then scheduled with the provider that matches their needs.
Can Telehealth help me?
You receive the same high-quality care and personalized attention as you would in our offices. Telehealth is especially helpful for people who need to fit therapy or psychiatry into a busy schedule, or who are unable to travel into the office.
If you are more comfortable in your home setting, telehealth provides you with the ability to remain in the comfort of your home. You may find it easier to keep to a regular therapy schedule when using telehealth.
What can I expect from Telehealth at Orlando Premier Psychiatry Behavioral Health?
You can expect the same level of professional psychiatric and psychotherapy care that we provide in our locations throughout Florida and Virginia, including medication management. We offer a high-quality, stable, and clear connection through Zoom.
By choosing a quiet, private place from which to conduct your side of the virtual session, you can be assured of confidentiality and an experience like that you’d have in the office. Whether in person, or virtually, our mental and behavioral health experts are here to support you.
